About Our Founder, Timothy Corris
In 2008, our founder, Timothy Corris, embarked on his journey in the world of design and drafting, working as a draftsman and field surveyor for a surveying company. Traveling across the country, he honed his skills in producing precise CAD drawings of existing As-Built floorplans.
In August 2010, Timothy transitioned into the MEP consulting realm, taking on the role of lead draftsman for Shine Engineering, P.A. Here, he demonstrated an unwavering commitment to learning, absorbing knowledge from the company and its engineers.
In 2016, Tim seized the opportunity to lead his own projects, stepping into the role of Project Manager in the Engineering Services Department of Tricarico Architecture & Design.
In 2019, Timothy embraced a new challenge, temporarily departing the consulting engineering field to work as a project manager for two different contractors. This experience provided valuable insights into design and an understanding of the practical aspects of bringing conceptual designs to life through installation.
In 2021, Tim decided to return to his roots in MEP Consulting Engineering, and in 2023, he founded Corris Consulting & Design LLC. The culmination of his diverse experiences, the firm aims to share Timothy's wealth of knowledge with fellow engineers, architects, and clients
